"Thank you for an amazing concert. We will want to have the BHO return to Wlson sometime in the future!"
Kathy Lehman, Wilson College, Director of Special Events

"Thank you for a wonderful program-it was very entertaining! This is the largest crowd we ever had for our concert series."
Dolly Terry, Music Director, Lima Methodist Church

From BHO director, Janet Witman, "2010 was our 10th anniversary! We made a professional Christmas DVD featuring BHO members playing at Longwood Gardens and Grace Methodist Church in Wilmington, DE. I've been posting these on Facebook and getting rave reviews:

"It takes a lot to impress me- and I'm blown away! Everyone was in tune and the consistency of playing together with that many harps was wonderful." Penny Beavers, CA harpist and recording artist.

"Beautiful video, scenery and especially music. Such wonderful playing." Christa Grix, MI concert and jazz harpist

"This is totally fabulous!" Ray Pool, NYC Broadway harpist and master teacher

We performed over 15 concerts and received standing ovations at each one! The most exciting was performing with the Kennett Symphony at Longwood Gardens in August for "Highland Fling". I composed parts for strings, percussion, flute and oboe and also transcribed the pedal harp part to Victor Herbert's "Irish Rhapsody" for celtic harps. It was very effective."
Janet Witman, BHO director

"Bravissima! You sounded beautiful and musical- the harpers looked spectacular upon the wall behind the orchestra, and the audience loved it!
Mary Green, Kennett Symphony Director in Aug 2010

"Thank you for a memorable evening of beautiful music at Longwood. Your work looked effortless- a sure sign that there was a lot of hard work behind the scenes." David Elderkin, KSO Board President in Aug 2010

"I appreciate instrumental proficiency but your group goes beyond that- you entertain!" Lighting crew member after Smyrna Opera House concert.

"This is the best opening concert I've heard in 12 years at this conference!"
Howard Bryan, harp restorer and builder- Beginning in the Middle
Harp Conference in Williamsburg, VA March 2010.

"Thank you all SO much for Thursday evening's concert. Everyone there was so moved and inspired by your musicianship! You really got the weekend off to a fantastic start!"
MJ D'Arville, Director of Beginning in the Middle harp conference in
Williamsburg, VA

"Magnificent...last night's concert was magical! Thanks for creating a Christmas wonderland of music..." Kathleen Hood, A Christmas Concert in Doe Run at St Malachi Church in heart of Chester County's horsecountry, Dec 09

director. The same to your ensemble members!"  Ray Pool
